► Do not use the appliance if it has mechanical defects (dents, cracks etc.). Get
it checked by the nearest authorized service center.
► Do not store or use this appliance outdoors.
► This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications
such as:
-staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
-by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
-farm houses;
-bed and breakfast type environments.
SPECIAL SAFETY MEASURES
► Install or locate this oven only in accordance with the installation
instructions provided.
► This microwave oven must be earthed. Only connect the microwave oven to a
mains supply which is properly earthed.
► This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Children less than 8 years of
age shall be kept away unless continuously supervised.
► Warning: Ensure that the appliance is switched off and unplugged before
replacing the lamp to avoid the possibility of electric shock.
► Only use utensils that are suitable for use in microwave ovens.
► Do not operate the oven when empty.
► Never block air vents on the oven body or obstruct normal ventilation.
► WARNING: Liquids and other foods must not be heated in sealed containers
since they are liable to explode.
► When heating food in plastic or paper containers, keep an eye on the oven
due to the possibility of ignition.
► Be sure to set the cooking time correctly as too long cooking may cause
foods to burn and damage the oven. Small amounts of food need short times
to cook and reheat. Adjust timings accordingly to avoid overheating
or scorching.
► If smoke is observed, switch off or unplug the appliance and keep the door
closed in order to stifle any flames.
► Do not use the oven cavity for storage purposes. Do not store foods, such as
bread, cookies, etc. inside the oven.
► Remove wire twist-ties and metal handles from paper or plastic containers/
bags before placing them in the oven.
► Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in
microwave ovens since they may explode, even after microwave heating
has ended.
► The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars shall be stirred or shaken
and the temperature checked before consumption, in order to avoid burns.
► Microwave heating of beverages can result in delayed eruptive boiling,
therefore care must be taken when handling the container.
► Do not attempt to deep-fry in your microwave oven.
► Before you cook or defrost food, remove it from its packing. Unless the food is
packed in special foil or film which allows you to cook in it.
► Only use the temperature probe recommended for this oven (for appliance
provided with a facility to use a temperature-sensing probe).
► Always use insulated oven gloves when taking cooked food from the
microwave oven. Avoid contact between skin and hot steam.
► The appliance is intended to be used freestanding and must not be placed in
a cabinet.
► The microwave oven is intended for cooking/heating food and beverages.
Drying of food or clothing and heating of warming pads, slippers, sponges,
damp cloth and similar may lead to risk of injury, ignition or fire.
WARNING! Please do not touch surface while in use.
The appliance and its accessible parts become hot during
operation. Care should be taken when in use.
