    Presentation 1. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFETY AND USE THIS MANUAL IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE APPLIANCE. IT MUST BE KEPT IN ITS ENTIRETY AND IN AN ACCESSIBLE PLACE FOR THE WHOLE WORKING LIFE OF THE COOKER. WE ADVISE YOU TO READ THIS MANUAL AND ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS THEREIN CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE COOKER.

    Instructions for the installer 2. INSTALLING THE APPLIANCE The appliance must be installed by a qualified technician and according to the regulations in force. This appliance may be installed next to walls, one of which must be higher than the appliance, at a minimum distance of 50 mm from the side of the appliance, as shown in drawings A and B relative to the installation classes.

    Instructions for the installer 3. ADAPTATION TO DIFFERENT TYPES OF GAS Before carrying out the following operations, disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply. The appliance is preset for natural gas G20 (2H) at a pressure of 20 mbar. In the case of operation with other types of gas, the burner nozzles must be changed and the minimum flame adjusted on the gas taps.

    Instructions for the installer 4. FINAL OPERATIONS After replacing the nozzles, reposition the flame-spreader crowns, the burner caps and the racks. Following adjustment to a gas other than the preset one, replace the gas setting label fixed to the appliance with the one corresponding to the new gas.

  • Page 14 Instructions for the user 5.2.2 Timer This function only activates the buzzer, without stopping cooking. Press in figure 1; Within 5 seconds press key timer. Each time a key is pressed, an outer segment representing 1 minute of cooking is lit or switched off (figure 2 shows 1 hour and 10 minutes).

USING THE HOB 6.1 Lighting the hob burners Before lighting the hob burners, check that the flame-spreader crowns are correctly in place with their respective burner caps, making sure that the holes A in the flame-spreaders are aligned with the plugs and thermocouples.
  • Page 18 Instructions for the user 6.2 Practical hints for using the hob burners For better burner efficiency and to minimise gas consumption: use pans with lids and of a suitable size for the burner, so that the flames do not reach up the sides of the pan (see paragraph “ 6.3 Pan diameters"). Once the contents come to the boil, turn down the flame far enough to prevent the liquid from boiling over.

    Instructions for the user 7. USING THE OVEN Before using the oven, check that the display is showing the symbol (see paragraph "Errore. L'origine riferimento non è stata trovata. Errore. On models equipped with the analogue digital timer, at first use or after a power outage, just press the central button for 1/2 seconds to enable the oven for cooking.
  • Page 20 Instructions for the user 7.4 Storage tray The storage tray is in the bottom of the cooker, underneath the oven. To open it, pull on the top of the door. Never use it to store flammable materials such as rags, paper, etc.; it is intended for storing the appliance's metal accessories only.

Oven rack: for cooking food inside dishes, small cakes, roasts or foods that require slight grilling. Tray rack: for placing on top of a tray for cooking foods which may drip.

COOKING HINTS 9.1 Traditional cooking FUNCTION SELECTOR THERMOSTAT KNOB BETWEEN 50° - 250°C This traditional cooking method, in which heat comes from above and below, is suitable for cooking food on a single level. You have to pre- heat the oven until the set temperature is reached.
  • Page 23 Instructions for the user 9.3 Grill cooking FUNCTION SELECTOR THERMOSTAT AT MAXIMUM SETTING Permits rapid browning of foods. The tray should be placed on the bottom runner. For short-term cooking of small quantities of food, place the rack in the third runner from the bottom. For long-term cooking and grills, put the rack in the lowest runner in accordance with the size of the pieces.

    Instructions for the user 10. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE 10.1 Cleaning stainless steel Before any intervention that requires access to live parts, disconnect the appliance from the power supply. To keep stainless steel in good condition it should be cleaned regularly after use.
  • Page 28 Instructions for the user 10.2.2 Burner caps, flame spreader crowns and burners For easier cleaning, the flame-spreader crowns can be removed. wash them with warm water and a non-abrasive detergent making sure to remove any encrustation, then wait until they are perfectly dry. Replace the flame spreader crowns, making sure that they are correctly in place with their respective burner caps and ensuring that the holes A in the flame-spreaders are aligned with the igniters and thermocouples.

Thanks to this process, it is possible to clean the inside of the oven very easily. During the first automatic cleaning cycle, unpleasant smells may occur due to the normal evaporation of oily manufacturing substances.
