Step 3: Activating your electronic bag tag
The Alaska Airlines app will walk you through the steps to
activate your tag, and will also display the claim check
number in the app for your reference.
After activating, please ensure that your flight information is
displayed in a clear black font on a white background. If the
colors are inverted, or the information appears blurry or faint,
please try activating the tag again.
Once your electronic tag has been activated, ensure that the
flight details on your electronic bag tag match the flight
details in the app.
Step 4: Time to fly
When you arrive at the airport, please head to the bag drop
area. If you have additional bags that need paper tags, you can
stop at a bag tag station to print them first.
The agent will scan your electronic bag tag the same way they
would a paper tag.
