Turn on the radio by rotating the VOLUME control knob clockwise. To
increase the sound volume, turn the knob further clockWise. To turn off the
radio, rotate the knob counterclockwise until a slight click is heard.
B A N D S E L E C T O R S W I T C H
Set the BAND SELECTOR switch either to AM or FM position, to AM for
AM standard broadcast reception and to FM for FM broadcast reception.

Turn this knob in either direction to tune in vour desired station.
A N T E N N A
This radio is incorporated with a.built-in ferrite bar antenna for AM band
and a telescopic rod antenna for FM band reception. As the ferrite bar
antenna is directional, rotat€ the radio slowly to find the position that
gives optirnum reception quality.
On FM band, extend the telescopic rod
antenna to its full length. Then adjust for degree and directioh that gives
the best sound.
STEREOCAST JACK
You can enjoy FM STEREO broadcasts with the (optional) Sanyo STEREO-
CAST ADAPTOR. Connect the plugs of the STEREOCAST to this jack.
E A R P H O N E J A C K
For private listening, connect the earphone to this jack, the internal speaker.
is automatically disconnected when the earphone is plugged into this jack.
