I M P O R T A N T

lf you plan not to use your radio for more than two or three weeks,
please remove the batteries. Old batteries may leak and damage the radio.
*
lf the sensitivity or sound quality deteriorates, replace the old batteries
w i t h n e w o n e s .
* Always turn off your radio when not using it. Leaving it on will shorten
the service life of the batteries.
* Transistors are sensitive to excessive heat and moisture. Never expose
y o u r r a d i o t o d i r e c t s u n l i g h t f o r l o n g p e r i o d s . D o n o t l e a V e i t i n a c l o s e d
car parked in the sun.
* Never use solvents containing benzol or petroleum for cleaning the
cabinet. Wipe off dust and stains with a soft cloth soaked in mild soapy
water only.
T O I N S T A L L T H E B A T T E R I E S
1 . O p e n t h e c a b i n e t b a c k w i t h a c o i n .
2. Take out the battery holder and install four "AA" size penlight batteries
into it. Polarities must be as indicated. Then replace the battery holder
into the battery compartment.
3. Close the cabinet back.
