Voltage Conversion and Note for U.K. Customers

If it is necessary to alter the AC power setting
to suit the line voltage in your area, use the
following procedures.
ALWAYS
DISCONNECT
THE
POWER
LINE
CORD
BEFORE
MAKING
THESE
ADJUST-
MENTS!
1. Remove
the top cover of the deck by re-
moving the screws from the sides.
2. Locate
the voltage selector, shown
in the
illustration, to the front of the power trans-
former.
3. Loosen the two screws in the shorting bar
and
move
the bar so that it shorts across
the
terminals
marked
with
the
required
voltage (100, 120, 220 or 240).
4. Retighten the screws.
5. Replace the top cover.
U.K. Customers Only:
Due to the variety of plugs being used in the
U.K., this unit is sold without an AC plug. Please
request your dealer to install the correct plug to
match the mains power outlet where your unit
will be used as per these instructions.
IMPORTANT
The
wires
in this
mains
lead
are coloured
in
|
accordance with the following code:
BLUE:
NEUTRAL
BROWN:
LIVE
_As the colours of the wires in the.mains Jead of
this apparatus
may
not
correspond
with the
coloured
markings
identifying
the
terminals
..din.your-plug, proceed as follows.
The wire which
is coloured
BLUE
must be con-
nected to the terminal: which
is marked with the
letter N or coloured
BLACK.
The wire which is
..coloured
.BROWN
must
be
connected
to the
terminal
which
is marked
with the letter L or
coloured RED.
