7. Troubleshooting

Problem
Door does not open
Display does not indicate door closed
Display does not indicate door open.
The door stops, opening halfway.
Door does not close.
Electric strike does not release.
Touch buttons do not respond or
are slow to respond.
Phantom activation of obstacle detection
during opening/closing cycle
The screen suddenly shows a series of
characters and symbols and refuses to
accept inputs.
Pull arm squeaks or makes noise.

Possible Solutions
• Verify power connection.
• Verify ON/OFF switch is set to ON.
• Verify the connections of activation
devices and/or sensors.
• Verify the display message.
• Verify position value = 100.
• Verify sensor wire.
• Re-initialize learning cycle.
• Verify position value = 100.
• Verify sensor wire.

• Adjust overload setting, see section 6.2.1.
• Verify if door is rubbing on floor and/or
ceilings.
• Verify if the gearbox has tension.
• Verify wiring.
• Verify hardware.
• Verify strike connection.
• Verify strike voltage.
• Clean fingers or wipe the touch buttons.
The control board uses resistive buttons, a
dirty surface can interfere with its proper
functioning.
• Increase the Overload parameter,
see section 6.2.1.
• Cycle power. Turn the unit off, wait 10
seconds, then turn on the unit.
• Caused by hitting too many keys on the
keyboard in rapid succession. Slow down
command inputs.
• The arm track is out of alignment.
• Adjust / level arm track.
