SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

  1. Place speaker on a flat surface with base (showing screw holes) upwards.
  2. Insert one wooden leg into a screw hole.
  3. Rotate wooden leg clockwise until tightly fastened.
  4. Repeat Step 2 for remaining two wooden legs.
  5. Repeat Step 3 for remaining two wooden legs.
  6. Once all the wooden legs are secure, turn speaker right side up.

  1. Maximum support capacity of this speaker is 11 lbs (5kg). DO NOT place an item heavier than 11 lbs (5kg) on this product. It will result in damage to the unit.
  2. DO NOT use as a seat. This will result in personal injury and cause damage to the unit.
  3. Please keep out of reach of children.

POWER ON/OFF

  1. Press and hold the POWER button to turn ON - wait for an audible tone. The speaker will automatically be in Bluetooth mode. The blue LED light will begin to flash. A Bluetooth compatible device can now be paired with speaker.
  2. Press and hold the POWER button to turn OFF. An audible tone and no illuminated LEDs signify the speaker is now OFF.
    NOTE: ff the speaker is dormant for 10 minutes, an audible tone will sound and it will automatically power OFF It is recommended to fully charge the unit prior to first use.

BLUETOOTH OPERATION

An external device with Bluetooth Connectivity can be wirelessly connected to this speaker using the Bluetooth function.

  1. Press and hold the POWER button to turn ON - wait for an audible tone. The speaker will automatically be in Bluetooth mode. The blue LED light will begin to flash. A Bluetooth compatible device can now be paired with the speaker.
  2. Turn your external device's Bluetooth Setting ON, Wait a moment, then look for the Bluetooth pairing name "VS-140"
  3. Select the Bluetooth pairing name, to connect the unit. Once connected, the blue LED light will stop flashing.
    NOTE: If the connection is unsuccessful the blue LED fight will begin to flash slowly.
  4. You are now connected to your external device via Bluetooth!
  5. Adjust the sound level using the VOLUME +/- buttons.

Playing music after connecting to Bluetooth:
PAUSE

  • Quickly press the Play/Pause/Phone button to pause.
  • Quickly press the Play/Pause/Phone button again to resume the Play function.

DISCONNECTING BLUETOOTH

  • Press and hold the Play/Pause/Phone button to disconnect Bluetooth pairing.
  • Follow steps 2 to 5 above to pair a new external device.

NOTE: The maximum recommended distance between a Bluetooth enabled device and speaker is 33 ft (10m).

MAKING A PHONE CALL VIA BLUETOOTH

  1. When there is an incoming call, the speaker will give an audio prompt.
  2. Quickly press the Play/Pause/Phone button to accept the phone call. (Press and hold the Play/Pause/Phone button to decline the call.)
  3. The internal MIC allows you to communicate with the caller.
  4. Quickly press the Play/Pause/Phone button to disconnect the call.
  5. Quickly press the Play/Pause/Phone button two times to redial the last dialed number.

AUX-IN OPERATION

An external (auxiliary) audio source (i.e. personal CD/MP3 Player/Mobile phone or computer) can be connected to this speaker via the AUX JACK.

  1. Plug a detachable Aux Cable into the AUX socket on 'the rear panel of the speaker.
  2. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode, the LED will turn green. NOTE: The speaker will automatically switch to Bluetooth mode when the AUX Cable is removed The LED will turn blue and begin blinking.

BATTERY / CHARGING INFO

Low Battery prompt to charge speaker:

  1. The speaker automatically issues an audible tone to remind the user that the speaker requires charging. NOTE: If the speaker is not charged it will automatically power off.
  2. Connect the A/C adapter to the DC port on the back of the speaker. The red LED light will illuminate signifying the speaker is charging. The red LED will turn off when the speaker is fully charged.


Please use the included A/C adapter for charging. If not, it may cause the speaker to charge too slow or not at all. In extreme cases, A/C adapter will become damaged or additional incidents may occur.

CHARGING YOUR EXTERNAL DEVICE VIA USB
When the speaker is powered on OR connected via the A/C adapter, the USB ports can charge 2 devices simultaneously. When the speaker is turned off however, the USB port can not charge external devices.

    • To reduce the risk of electric shock do not remove cover (or back) as there are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified personnel.
    • The exclamation point within and equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance,
  1. The mains plug is used as disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

The built-in rechargeable battery is not replaceable, Do not remove or replace it, do not throw in the trash or in a fire. Do not dispose device in standard garbage disposal sites.
