1.6 Starting up and operating

Before using the Shielding Box following connections have to be done:
Ground-connection
The Shielding Box has to be grounded expertly at the ground connector (look at
illustration 2, position 8). A cable with a conductor cross-section of minimum 1.5 mm²
has to be used.
Power supply
The power supply voltage range of the Shielding Box is 100 V - 240 V at
50 Hz / 60 Hz at the appliance-plug (look at illustration 2, position 9).
Interface connection
In order to control inner units, fitting data cables have to be connected. With attention
to the wiring table (see appendix) and the manual of inner units it is the users choice
how to contact the inner units.

At the Shielding Box no display or control elements are present.

Before connecting any data cable, the device and all inner units
have to be shut off!
Check all connections for correct hook up, before turning the power on.
Before starting make sure the Shielding Box is standing safely
or is build in safely.
It is absolutely forbidden to energize any external
AC power supply cable while the related Harting connector
or any fan is not connected or is not locked!
The operating-temperature of the Shielding Box has to be between
-40 °C and +80 °C.
To reach the specified screening of the box, close the cover and fix it with
the one hand mechanism. No objects e. g. measuring lines or the like are
allowed to be between Shielding Box and Shielding Box cover.
