| Timer setting
This allows unattended recording of radio broadcasts.
The timer recording mode is deactivated after it has been
performed once.
Example: ST-5 is recorded from 6:40 to 7:15.

Load the tape for recording into Deck It.
Timer recording should begin in the forward direction
(>).
@ Check to see that the cassette's accidental erasure
prevention tabs have not been removed,

Press TIMER SET and then (within 5 seconds)
press REC (+).
Press TIMER SET within 5 seconds,
{(+)/REC (+) and press TIMER SET.
Set the recording (ON) minute using WAKE-UP
{(+)/REC (+) and press TIMER SET.
{Ifyou make no further changes within about five seconds,
Set the turn off hour using WAKE-UP (~}/REC
(+) and press TIMER SET.
(+) and press TIMER SET.
Set the desired station using WAKE-UP (-}/REC
(+).
Press TIMER SET.
This completes timer setting.

Press REC (+) and REC will light in the display.
Turn the power off with POWER STANDBY/ON.
NOTES:
When timer recording starts, the volume is set to minimum
automatically. If you want to listen to the sound, adjust the
volume with the VOLUME control.
if you do not turn off the power after setting the timer, timer
recording will not be carried out.
if timer settings are overlapped, the later timer setting will
not be carried out.
