ERROR MESSAGES
Ifa problem exists in your SAM 3000, one of the following messages may appear
on the display. If this occurs please call - Wavetek Customer Service at 1-800-
851-1198.
ERR 1; EDIT ERROR
ERR 2: CALIBRA RANGE
ERR 4: FREQ ERROR
ERR 5: CHN NOT PGM
ERR 6: FREQ RANGE
ERR 8: NOT CUSTOM PL
ERR 9: HUM ERROR
ERR 10:NO SUB OPT
ERR 11:NO UHF OPT
ERR 12:RECHARGE BAT
ERR 13:CALB MEMORY
incorrect keystroke sequence when editing
frequency or channel
the unit cannot be calibrated at the current
temperature since the IF gain range is
insufficient to calibrate
the test plan definition requested cannot be
honored because the test plan is already in
use; you must delete all sets which use the
plan before you can redefine the plan
channel chosen is not programmed in the
current custom channel plan
frequency chosen is too high or too low for
unit
PMG function was requested on a non-
custom channel plan
Hum cannot be measured at the current
temperature since the IF gain range is
insufficient to measure Hum
sub channel request cannot be honored
because required sub option is not installed
UHF channel request cannot be honored
because required UHF option is not
installed
the unit's internal batteries are discharged,
recharge must be done before unit can be
used
an error was detected in the unit's calibra-
tion memory indicating internal ROM
failure
