called the oscillometric
method.

monitor detects your
blood's
movement
through
the artery
in
your
arm
and
converts the
move-
ments
into
a
digital
reading.

oscillometric
method does
not
require
a
stethoscope,

the monitor easy-to-use.
Blood pressure
readings
determined
with

device are equivalent
to
measurements
obtained
by a
trained
observer using
the cuff/stethoscope
