6-3-4 20 Fine Lines Appear On Screen (Periodically)
Samsung Electronics
1. 20 fine lines appear on screen (periodically)
2. After Checking the line color,
determines which channel fails
-. Magenta -> G Channel fails
-. Yellow -> B Channel fails
-. Cyan
-> R Channel fails
3. Check data is output from Pin 100
(Connector) of each channel
4. Check data in/out between Driver IC and Memory
and the Path between Driver IC and Pin 100 (Connector)
Notes
1. If the Lines still appear after changing the screen or channel, one line
of 64 data lines must be open,.
2. If the Lines appear or disappear depending on contrast, two data lines
(Driver IC, Connector, Array Filter) must be shorted.
(When the panel data is checked by using an oscilloscope, input Horizontal
Ramp Pattern. Because the signal between lines adjacent to the panel
always varies, if the mid level of signal (1.7V) appears when two adjacent
lines are shorted (one line is "H" signal (3.3V) and the other line is "L"
signal (0V)), it means both lines are shorted.)
