6-3 Drive Board
6-3-1 Shutter Waveform Check
(1) Compare with the normal Shutter Waveform (right)
(2) Press Reset Switch (SW101) on the Driver Board.
Check the output waveform and compare with the waveform
given in the figure right. If they don't match, it means
the output waveform fails.
(3) Check the output voltage from LT1054 IC(IC103) Pin 5 (-12V):
If -12V is not normally output, it means the SHUTTER waveform
stage ICs operate abnormally
(4) Check IC Input/Output in the following sequence:
OP AMP IC (ICG504,ICB504) -> DG409 (ICG501,ICB501) -> MAX312 (ICG503,ICB503) -> 74LCX32 (ICB406,ICG406, ICR406)
-> SDP9904 (ICG401, ICB401) (See the waveform at each point on the schematic diagrams)
* Symptoms (when Shutter Waveform fails) : If Y(R,G channel used simultaneously) Shutter operates abnormally,
the screen will yellow all over. If B Shutter operates abnormally, the screen will blues all over.
* Shutter Waveform is generated on the basis of V-Sync that is input to LVDS IC(IC201-DS90CF386) (60HZ).
6-3-2 Window Waveform Check
(1) Compare with the normal Window Waveform (right)
->Test Point: ICR504,ICG504,ICB504 Pin 7
(2) Press Reset Switch(SW101) on the Driver Board.
Check the output waveform and compare with the waveform
given in the figure right. If they don't match, it means the output
waveform fails.
(3) Check the output voltage from LT1054 IC(IC103) Pin 5 (-12V):
If -12V is not normally output, it means the Window waveform
stage ICs operate abnormally.
(4) Check IC Input/Output in the following sequence :
OP AMP IC(ICG504,ICB504,ICR504) -> DG409(ICG501,ICB501,ICR501) -> 74LCX32(ICB406, ICG406, ICR406) ->
SDP9904(ICG401, ICB401)
(See the waveform at each point on the schematic diagrams)
* Symptom (when Window Waveform fails): This trouble can't be soon detected by eyes on the screen.
It can damage panel.
* Window Waveform is generated on the basis of V-SYNC that is input to LVDS IC(IC201-DS90CF386) (60HZ).
