    7. Getting started 7.1. Before connecting the monitor It is possible that your existing monitor supports a physical resolution that is not supported by your new monitor. In this case, the image on your new monitor may not appear correctly once it has been connected. ...

    7.3. Setup Avoid glare, reflections and extreme dark-light contrasts to protect your eyes. The monitor should never be placed close to windows, because this is where the workspace is illuminated the brightest by daylight. This brightness makes it more difficult for the eyes to adjust to the darker screen. Always position the monitor with the line of sight parallel to the window front.

    7.6. Setting the display resolution The monitor supports the physical resolutions listed in the table. The aspect ratio of the display screen is 16:9. You will get an image that is free from distortion by select- ing the 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution. This is a native 16:9 aspect ratio. Image dis- tortions or black bars at the end of the picture can occur with all other resolutions.
