7.5.1 Layer mode

7.5.2 Split mode

The keyboard offers 480 sounds. This allows you to play a sound with your right
hand.
1.
Press [SOUND] to activate sound mode.
ð The display shows the 'SOUND R1' indicator and the currently selected
sound.

Use the numeric buttons or
sound.

Layer mode allows you to set the "layering" of sounds.

Press [LAYER] to activate layer mode.
ð The display shows the 'SOUND R2' indicator, 'LAYER' and the currently
selected sound.

Press [LAYER] again to deactivate layer mode.
With split mode, you can assign different sounds to certain keyboard areas. The
default split point is on piano key [F#3]. You can change the split point in the func‐
tion menu (see ).
