PANEL FACILITIES
@ POWER switch
When this switch is pressed power is turned ON and
the numeric
display lights. Press again (released
position) to turn power OFF.
@) Disc Table
When the power is turned on and the OPEN/CLOSE
button @)is pressed,
the disc table
opens.
Load
the disc on top of the table.
@ OPEN/CLOSE button
After turning on the power, press this button to open
the disc table. Press once again and the disc table
will retract inside the player.
@
MEMORY : A button
Use to designate the starting point A (track number,
minutes, seconds) when performing interval repeat
playback.
When
this button is pressed during playback, the
player will memorize the track number, minutes, and
seconds at that point.
Afterwards, if the REPEAT (B) button is pressed to
designate the end point for playback, the interval
between
points
A
and
B will
be
played
back
repeatedly.
G) REPEAT : B button
Use when performing repeat play of a single track or
all tracks on a disc.
Also, when used together with the MEMORY:A but-
ton, interval repeat playback between points can be
performed.
@) DISPLAY
button
Use to switch the indication of the numeric display
@.

Program (PGM) button
Use to write in, change, and confirm track numbers
for programmed play.
Program START button
Use this button to start programmed playback.
@) STOP button
Press to stop all player operations.
SLOW SCAN/PGM
STEP button
This button is used to move the disc program quickly
in both the forward and reverse directions.
Fast scanning is performed only during the time the
button is held depressed.
This is also used as the program step (PGM STEP)
button when writing in track numbers for program-
med play.
(1) PAUSE button
Press to temporarily interrupt playback. Press again
to release from the pause mode.
@2) TRACK SEARCH/PGM
TRACK
button
Use when searching for a particular track. It is also
used to designate tracks (PGM TRACK) for program-
med play.
@3) PLAY button
Use to begin playback and release player from pause
mode.
Play Indicator (| >|
)
Lights during disc playback.
@5) Pause Indicator ( | II)
)
Lights during the pause mode.
Numeric display
By pressing the DISPLAY button ©), the following 4
display modes can be selected:
TIME display
Track number and
time of presently
playing track
INDEX display
Track and in-
dex*numbers of
presently playing
track
Total number of
tracks and total
playing time
Presently playing
track number, re-
maining time to
| end of disc
TOTAL display
REMAIN
display
NOTE:
*/NDEX refers to signals which are previously recorded
on a disc and which indicate sub-divisions within a single
track.
