Indicators
The use of the indicators is dependent on the mode of operation.
When the equipment is being programmed, with the programming tool fitted in the front panel
socket, the indicators joined by the lead-lines are operative. The indicator functionality is as follows:
(TX)
(RX)
(TRC)

RSS Installation

The RSS software is provided on 3.5 inch diskettes.
There are two versions of RSS available; one for use on PCs running the Microsoft Windows 3.11
operating system, the other for PCs running the Microsoft Windows NT and Microsoft Windows '95
operating systems.

Installation for Microsoft Windows 3.11 Systems

Insert the diskette labelled "Disk 1/2" into the diskette drive of the PC.

Select the "Run" option from the File Manager "File" menu and type the following command
line;
A:\SETUP.EXE

Proceed with the installation, following the instructions displayed on the screen. Insert the
diskette labelled "DISK 2/2" when prompted.

Repeater Set-Up/Knock Down button. If the repeater is Knocked Down,
press once to Set-Up. Press again to Knock Down the repeater.
When the programming tool is fitted in the front panel socket (J1)
pressing this button once selects the Rx radio for programming; pressing
the button a second time selects the Tx radio. The TRICK is selected by
default when the programming tool is inserted in the socket.
- Not used for programming.
ON
- Indicates that the Tx Radio has been selected for programming.
ON
- Indicates that the RX radio has been selected for programming.
ON
- Indicates that the TRICK has been selected for programming.
FLASHING - Indicates that the TRICK is in programming mode.
