INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: BE SURE POWER IS OFF AT MAIN POWER PANEL/FUSE BOX BEFORE INSTALLING OR REPLACING FIXTURE
• Pull the supply wires from the house over the Mounting Bracket (B). Install the Mounting Bracket onto the
junction box using the two Mounting Screws (C).
• Place Gasket (D) over the junction box and pull wires through this gasket.
Connect the wire using the Wire Connectors (E) as follows:
• White light fixture wire to White house wire.
• Black light fixture to Black house wire.
• Green light fixture wire to all Green (or bare) house wires.
If there is no ground wire from the house, then connect the Green light fixture wire to the
Green grounding screw on the mounting bracket.
• Secure the light fixture to the Mounting Bracket using the Fixture Mounting Screw (F).
• IMPORTANT: Apply a weatherproof silicone caulk or sealant around the fixture base.
• Plug the screw hole in the front of the fixture with plug (G).
• Aim the light and motion sensor at the center of the desired detection area.
INSTALLING OR REPLACING THE BULB
NOTE: Two (2) JCD Type, 100-watt Halogen bulbs are pre-installed in the unit.
WARNING: Turn OFF power and allow fixture to cool down for 10 minutes. Use only a JCD Type, 100-Watt Halogen bulb of the same size.
Only handle bulb with gloves or a soft cloth. Do NOT touch bulb with your bare hands.
• Open the lens cover by unscrewing it – 1/4 turn counterclockwise. CAREFULLY remove the lens cover and reflector assembly.
• Remove the old bulb by gently pulling the bulb straight out of the socket.
• Insert new bulb by aligning the bulb prongs with the socket and gently pushing the bulb straight in until it is properly seated
• Carefully reinsert the lens cover and reflector over the bulb making sure that the reflector does not damage the bulb.
• Screw the lens cover – 1/4 turn clockwise to lock it into place. Be sure the lens cover gasket is properly seated.

INITIAL START-UP PROCEDURES
IMPORTANT: When power is initially applied to the fixture, it will take 40 seconds for the unit to "warm-up" before the lights will turn ON.
The unit will also "warm-up" every time power has been restored after the unit has been turned off. After the "warm-up" period, the unit
will enter the "Automatic Test Mode" for approximately 80 seconds.
• Aim the motion sensor at the center of the desired detection area.
• Turn ON the power at the main circuit breaker/fuse box.
• Turn any connected light switch to the ON position.
• During "warm-up", one or more of the colored LED's may be lit, but the light will not be ON.
• After the 40-second "warm-up", the fixture will enter the "Automatic Test Mode".
• The "Automatic Test Mode" lasts approximately 80 seconds. During this time, the light will turn ON for
approximately 5 seconds every time motion is detected.
• It would be helpful to have someone move around the boundaries of the targeted detection area while you re-aim the motion sensor
until the desired detection zone is covered.
• If more time is needed beyond the 80-second "Automatic Test Mode", simply turn power OFF at the wall switch or main fuse box for
at least 5 seconds, then restore power. The light will go through another 40-second "warm-up" period followed by another
80-second "Automatic Test Mode".
• After the 80-second "Automatic Test Mode" process, press the motion sensor control buttons located underneath the motion sensor
to set the desired parameters. (See MOTION SENSOR CONTROLS).
• IMPORTANT NOTE: To prevent damage during shipment, the photocell (located at the bottom of the motion sensor) is protected with
a cover/sticker labeled as "CDS". With the "CDS" sticker in place, the unit's function and settings can be checked during the daytime.
In order for the light fixture to work properly as intended, the "CDS" sticker must be removed.
• Be sure to leave the light switch or main power ON so that the motion sensor will remain active.
MOTION SENSOR CONTROLS
SENS (Sensitivity) – Sets the sensitivity of the motion sensor.
Generally, the sensitivity should be set at maximum. Lower the sensitivity to reduce false
triggering caused by small pets. To change the sensitivity level, press the "SENS" button
repeatedly until the number of green LED's lit corresponds with the desired setting.
TIME (Duration) – Sets how long the light will stay on after motion is detected
To change the time duration, press the "TIME" button repeatedly until the number of
red LED's lit corresponds with the desired setting (between 30 seconds to 3 minutes).

OTHER FEATURES/FUNCTIONS
MANUAL OVERRIDE FEATURE
If the security light is connected to a wall switch, the Manual Override Feature is available.
Manual Override Feature allows the unit to be turned ON or OFF manually, bypassing the motion sensor.
• Manual Operation - To manually turn the unit ON, turn the wall switch OFF for 1 second and then ON again.
The floodlight will turn ON and remain ON until wall switch is turned OFF. If light is left ON in the Manual Override Mode through the night,
the unit will automatically turn OFF when daylight is detected and will reset to Automatic Operation.
• Resetting to Automatic Operation - To return the security light to automatic operation, turn wall switch OFF for 1 second and then back ON.
The security floodlight will turn off and stay off until motion is detected. The floodlight will now activate according to the setting on motion sensor.
Leave wall switch in ON position to operate floodlight in automatic mode.
• NOTE: If the wall switch is turned OFF for more than 2 seconds, the unit will go through the 40 second warm-up period followed by the 80 second
automatic test mode.
WHITE LIGHT REJECTION FEATURE
This feature will prevent the light from inadvertently turning OFF when exposed to momentary bright lights (e.g. headlights from a passing car).
The unit will not turn off unless the photocell is exposed to a bright light for more than 5 seconds.
INTEGRATED SURGE PROTECTION
The unit will not be affected by power surges lasting between 0.25 - 1.25 seconds.
