Safety instructions

⋅ The unit is equipped with a safety
system. It operates only when the
work cover and the motor housing
are properly in place.
⋅ Caution: Never operate the unit
without the working lid and motor
housing in place.
⋅ Never reach into the running blade
with your hand or with objects.
⋅ Never exceed the max. filling capa-
city of the working bowl of 1.2 liters.
⋅ Never let the device operate with-
out food.
⋅ Do not use the appliance to chop
food that is boiling or too hard,
such as (e.g. soups, ice cubes,
nutmegs, cereals, rice or spices).
⋅ Remove hard and fibrous parts of
vegetables/fruit (seeds, stones,
peels, stalks, etc.) before chopping
to avoid damage to the appliance.
⋅ Always remove the universal knife
from the work bowl before remo-
ving the food.
⋅ The device should not be operated
for longer than 30 seconds wit-
hout interruption. After this time,
the unit must be switched off for
safety reasons. Then allow the
motor cool down for approx.
2 minutes.
⋅ Never use harsh cleaning agents
such as chemical cleaners, steel
wool or scouring agents, as these
could damage the working and
chopper bowl or the unit housing.
Disposal
⋅ Make worn out appliances unusa-
ble. Pull out the mains plug and
sever the cord. Electric appliances
are to be returned to a shop of
sale or handed over to an official
dump. No household waste. Must
be disposed of in accordance with
local regulations.
