Making calls :
You can also make calls
without picking up the handset.

Pick up the handset (or press SPEAKERPHONE).
The line indicator lights and you hear a dial tone.

Dial a phone number.
The phone number appears and scrolls off the display if it has
more than 5 digits. After a while the talk time appears.

When you finish talking, replace the handset in the
cradle (or press SPEAKERPHONE again).
The line indicator goes off and the call is disconnected. The talk
time also disappears.

Press SPEAKERPHONE and resume talking.
(You can put the handset in the cradle.)
To switch back to the handset, pick up the handset again.
