INSTALLATION
Connection and Disconnection of Units
Connection of Units
• Ensure that the connection of the handpiece is compatible with that of the airmotor or
micromotor.
• In order to couple it, press the handpiece on the coupling of the airmotor or micromotor until it
is fastened.
Disconnection of Units
• To uncouple, pull out the handpiece in parallel.
• Never place or remove the handpiece when the micromotor is functioning.
Mounting & Dismounting the Bur
Mounting the Bur
• Insert the bur fully into the chuck without pressing the button.
• After placing the bur, push the button and bur to secure the bur in place.
• Use your hands to gently pull the bur to check if it is securely attached.
Dismounting the Bur
• Press the push button securely and then remove the bur.
CAUTIONS
• Do not insert or remove the bur while the handpiece is rotating.
• Do not use non-ISO standard burs.
• Avoid applying excessive pressure on the bur, as it may break and become di cult to remove.
• Ensure that the shank of the bur is free from dirt and debris before inserting it into the handpiece
to prevent damage.
