LUBRICATING THE HANDPIECE
Lubricate handpieces and air motors with Waldent Unispray Universal Handpiece Spray after each
use or before autoclaving.
•
Push the spray nozzle attachment onto the spray bottle until it rmly seats.
•
Shake the can 3-4 times to thoroughly mix the lubricant.
•
Cover the handpiece head with a tissue and lubricate the chuck for 2-3 seconds until any debris is
expelled from the head.
•
Insert the spray nozzle into the rear of the handpiece and spray for approximately 2-3 seconds
until the oil comes out of the handpiece head.
•
Connect the contra-angle handpiece to the dental unit and rotate it until it is fully lubricated.
CAUTIONS
•
Be sure to hold the handpiece rmly to prevent it from slipping out due to the spray pressure
while lubricating.
•
Spray the lubricant until it emerges from the handpiece head (for approximately 2 seconds).
•
Keep the spray can upright.
CLEANING & STERILIZATION
•
Wipe the handpiece sheath clean with alcohol-dipped soft tissue or cotton. Never immerse the
handpiece in boiling water or chemicals. Do not use wired brushes or an ultrasonic cleaner.
•
The handpiece is autoclavable up to 135°C. Autoclave it for 20 minutes at 121°C or for 15 minutes
at 132°C.
•
Allow the handpiece to cool down to room temperature before storing them.
•
Store the handpiece in the autoclave pouch until the next usage.

WARRANTY
•
This product is warranted against manufacturing defects for 6 months from the date of e ective
delivery of the product. The cartridge is warranted for 90 days while bearing is excluded from
warranty.
•
The warranty is limited to repair or replacement of parts having manufacturing defects duly
evidenced by the manufacturer or by the authorized technical assistance network.
•
This warranty does not include the repairing of faults due to non-observance of use and
maintenance instructions, tumbles or beats, improper storage, action of natural agents and
technical assistance carried out by non- authorized personnel.
•
This warranty would cease as per the normal course of the validity terms, if alterations are
introduced in the product or use of improper ttings and if technical assistance is carried out by
non-authorized personnel.
•
The repair or replacement of parts within the warranty period will not extend the original validity
terms of the warranty.
•
This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts only.
•
The parts replaced during the warranty period belong to the company and users must not claim
to retain the damaged/defective parts.
