    Field of application 2.1.1 Seed drill control system The Solitronic electronic seed drill control system was developed for die control- ling drill machines with electrical sowing shaft drive as well as for implement com- binations with seed drill that are equipped with the previously-mentioned electrical sowing shaft drive.

    Basic information Entering values This window appears where values, e.g. such as the working width of the cultivator have to be entered. The corresponding value can be entered here on the number field (1) or by actua- ting the terminal's rotary encoder. This view appears when the field (2) is pressed.

    Basic information Control terminals 2.5.1 LEMKEN Solitronic The "Solitronic" electronic seed drill control system is operated using the control terminal (1). It consists of a display (8), function keys (3), shift keys (7) and a shaft encoder (5) with confirmation key.

    Basic information ISOBUS terminal When equipping the implement with ISOBUS it is advisable to use a LEMKEN- ISOBUS terminal. Your implement can however also be operated using other CCI- ISOBUS terminals. The "Solitronic" electronic seed drill control system is operated using the control terminal (1).

    Entry menu 4.10 Hydraulic upper link (Solitair 12K) The sowing depth is configured in the Operating menu via the hydraulic upper link in a range of 0 % = minimum settling depth and 100 % = maximum settling depth. To do so, the seed drill control system has to be correspondingly calibrated. This is done at the factory.

In the Configuration menu • the seed to be sown is selected by a code, • the required seed rate is entered and • after entering the weight of the configured seed rate, the electronic seed drill control system is automatically adjusted to match the required seed rate.

A proposed calibration time is then shown that - depending on the selected code number - causes the calibration tray to be filled to approx. 75 %. This requires the sewing wheels to be switched on or off in accordance with the sewing table.

    Calibration menu 5.3.7 Result This then completes the calibration test sample. The display now shows the ad- justed and selected data along with the possible minimum and maximum opera- ting speeds, e.g. 0.52 km/h and 15.1 km/h. If an unrealistic or unfavourable speed range appears, this is then indicated on the display by means of a reference code.

    Operating menu Manual start − Press this key to start the seeding process independent of the imple- ment control system, e.g. in the corners of the field. The seeding wheels start to rotate for 20 seconds. If a working speed of 1.3 km/h is reached within this period of 20 seconds, the sowing shaft or the implement is regulated by the implement control system again.
