Field of application 2.1.1 Seed drill control system The Solitronic electronic seed drill control system was developed for die control- ling drill machines with electrical sowing shaft drive as well as for implement com- binations with seed drill that are equipped with the previously-mentioned electrical sowing shaft drive.
Basic information Entering values This window appears where values, e.g. such as the working width of the cultivator have to be entered. The corresponding value can be entered here on the number field (1) or by actua- ting the terminal's rotary encoder. This view appears when the field (2) is pressed.
Basic information Control terminals 2.5.1 LEMKEN Solitronic The "Solitronic" electronic seed drill control system is operated using the control terminal (1). It consists of a display (8), function keys (3), shift keys (7) and a shaft encoder (5) with confirmation key.

Basic information ISOBUS terminal When equipping the implement with ISOBUS it is advisable to use a LEMKEN- ISOBUS terminal. Your implement can however also be operated using other CCI- ISOBUS terminals. The "Solitronic" electronic seed drill control system is operated using the control terminal (1).

Entry menu ENTRY MENU General information Press this key to enter the Entry menu. Depending on the equipment specification and the implement model, the Entry menu will have either one menu page or several menu pages to choose from. If there are several menu pages, a scroll function will also always be available for changing pages.

It is only possible to select tramlines in two passages when the seed drill is equip- ped with a tramline shifting element with 4x2, 4x3 or 4x4 tramlines.

Entry menu Change in seed rate increment value − Press this key to enter the Increment value menu. − Press this key and set the percentage increment value for the change in seed rate. The value can be varied between 1% and 20%.

Entry menu 4.10 Hydraulic upper link (Solitair 12K) The sowing depth is configured in the Operating menu via the hydraulic upper link in a range of 0 % = minimum settling depth and 100 % = maximum settling depth. To do so, the seed drill control system has to be correspondingly calibrated. This is done at the factory.

Calibration menu CALIBRATION MENU General information − Press this key to enter the Calibration menu. In the Configuration menu • the seed to be sown is selected by a code, • the required seed rate is entered and • after entering the weight of the configured seed rate, the electronic seed drill control system is automatically adjusted to match the required seed rate.
Calibration menu Converting grains/sq. m. into kg/ha The required seed rate must be entered as kg/ha in the Calibration menu. If you wish to enter a seed rate as grains per sq. m., then the required seed rate can be calculated in kg/ha as follows.

Calibration menu 5.3.4 Calibration time This field is now active. A proposed calibration time is then shown that - depending on the selected code number - causes the calibration tray to be filled to approx. 75 %. This requires the sewing wheels to be switched on or off in accordance with the sewing table.
Calibration menu 5.3.7 Result This then completes the calibration test sample. The display now shows the ad- justed and selected data along with the possible minimum and maximum opera- ting speeds, e.g. 0.52 km/h and 15.1 km/h. If an unrealistic or unfavourable speed range appears, this is then indicated on the display by means of a reference code.
Calibration menu Repeating calibration test sample (calibration test sample monitor) If a calibration test sample was conducted and it has to be repeated because of an inspection, or a calibration test sample with the same seed and identical seed rate as for the previous calibration test sample is to be conducted, and the seed wheels are already full, then a shortened, direct start, calibration test sample can be conducted.

Operating menu Manual start − Press this key to start the seeding process independent of the imple- ment control system, e.g. in the corners of the field. The seeding wheels start to rotate for 20 seconds. If a working speed of 1.3 km/h is reached within this period of 20 seconds, the sowing shaft or the implement is regulated by the implement control system again.

Operating menu Section-width switch-off The number of section widths can vary depending on the type of implement. − Press the respective key to switch off the corresponding section width. If a section width, e.g. is switched off for the first passage, the respective LED goes on.
Operating menu 6.10 Tramline control − Press this key to switch the current tramline forward when required. − Press this key to switch the current tramline back when required. − Press this key to stop the tramline control. Tramline control has to be stopped, e.g. when the implement or the coulter bar is raised during a passage.
Operating menu 6.12 Sowing depth display – Solitair 12 K This display shows the sowing depth as a % for Solitair 12 K. The sowing depth setting is made by the hydraulic upper control link on the Soli- tair 12 K. Minimum sowing depth is 0 %.
Operating menu 6.13 Other displays in Operating menu The electric motor is not regulated, e.g. when the implement is raised or when the electric motor's set value and actual value match. Information menu INFORMATION MENU General information The Information menu displays the switching state of the sensors, the control sys- tem and control terminal software versions, the number of seeding coulters, coul- ters in the tramline and the return lines along with the data for the implement such as, e.g.
The "Box" displays indicates the operating status of the coupling box. If a 0 ap- pears the coupling box is OK. A 1 indicates a fault in the coupling box, e.g. fuse faulty.
