When the tape is travelling in the reverse direction, the value dis¬
played on the linear counter will count down. After "00.00" is
reached, the value then increases, but with a minus sign displayed
(example: "-Q0.08").

The linear counter is not a digital clock, the difference between the
actual recording and playback time and the counter display may be
anything up to several minutes.
Connect the headphones (not included) to the
headphone jack.

Avoid listening for prolonged periods of time to prevent hearing
damage.
About the remote control function
The cassette deck can be operated by using the remote control pro¬
vided with a Technics amplifier or receiver. (For detailed informa¬
tion, refer to the operating instructions of the amplifier or receiver.)
Use the remote control within 60 degrees and within 7 meters facing
toward this unit. Avoid any obstacles.
During operation from the remote control, the "R.C." indicator will
light up.
