The impedance of this speaker is 8 ohms. Connect the speaker to an amplifier with a load
impedance of 8 ohms.
Caution: in use
To protect the speaker from damage due to excessive input, please observe the following
precautions.
• Use a dividing filter with a cutoff frequency of 5000 Hz or higher and a cutoff slope of
-12 dB/oct or higher.
• Do not input more than the allowable input.
• Turn off the amplifier power when connecting the equipment including this unit to the
amplifier.
• Do not increase the volume too much when enhancing treble by using an equalizer or
other means.
• Do not use a low-power amplifier to produce unreasonably loud sound. (This will increase
the harmonic distortion of the amplifier and may damage the speakers.)
