Troubleshooting

For Minor Faults
Problem
The display is not turning on.
The
  s ymbol is lit on the display.
The
  s ymbol is lit on the display.
The drying program is not starting.
The drying program either took too long or
the clothes were not dry enough.
There are humming noises while running.
The dryer turns off after a program ends.
For Serious Faults:
• If you experience one of the listed faults shown in the table
on page 13, or if another emergency or serious fault occurs,
immediately power off the dryer using the controls, and then
disconnect the power from the source.
• If a serious fault occurs, DO NOT attempt any repairs
yourself, instead wait for a service agent to do so.
• For assistance or to organize an authorised service agent
contact our After Sales Support by calling 1300 11 4357,
or by emailing support@residentiagroup.com.au.

Solution
• Check if the mains power plug has been properly inserted and the power is on.
• Check if there is a power outage in your home or area. If the problem persists
contact our Support Team for guidance.
• Check the water container. If it is full, pour out the condensate water, reinsert the
water container and then restart the dryer.
• If the
  i con is still appearing despite the water container being empty, we
recommend that you contact our Support Team for guidance.
• Check the lint filter. Carefully remove the filter and clean the accumulated lint.
After reinserting the filter, restart your dryer.
• If the 
  i con is still appearing despite the lint filter being clean, we recommend
that you contact our Support Team for guidance.
• Check if the mains power plug has been properly inserted and the power is on.
• See if the water container is full. Additionally, check if the lint filter is clean.
• Ensure that the dryer door is properly closed, and no garments are snagged.
• Restart the dryer, however if the problem persists contact our Support Team.

• Consider using a higher drying intensity level, or alternatively use the Time Dry
program to extend the time clothes are spent drying.
• Ensure you are not attempting to dry over the appliance's maximum capacity.
• The compressor is operating. This is normal and does not indicate a fault.
• This is normal, as the appliance turns off automatically in order to save energy.
• Please note that if a service agent is asked to attend whilst
the product is under warranty and finds that the problem is
not the result of an appliance fault, then you may be liable for
the cost of the call out charge.
• The appliance must be accessible for the service agent to
perform any necessary repair. If your appliance is installed in
such a way that a service agent is concerned that damage
will be caused to the appliance or your home, then they will
not complete a repair.
