Remove case and cover.
Insert a disc into first slot of pack.
3. Load the disc when pushing PLAY button of com-
mander.
. Push ALL OFF button.
5. Rotate elevator gear (large) by hand so that disc
is set near first slot.
. Push the disc by hand so that the disc returns a
half to the pack.
. Check that laser lights up by pushing PLAY but-
ton in this condition.
In this time, optical pick-up block moves up and
down 6 times.
Be sure to push ALL OFF button
within 6 times, or disc will be damaged.
. Push RESET button.

Troubleshooting
can
be
done
on
this set by per-
forming the following operations.
1.
Remove the case and take out the body of the set.
(Leave DD converter connection in place.)
. Turn top plate gear (large) by hand so that it is
higher than the home,
. Apply 14.4 V from the regulated power supply to
the yellow and black lines.
(If $902 (M1 switch) is off, there will be no opera-
tion, so turn R ger (F) so that S902 goes on.)
. Turn power on.
5. After linear slide lever operation is completed, the
elevator will return to home.
If it does not, there
is a failure somewhere.
When
bringing the elevator above the home again
and operating, press the reset button after turning
power on.
. Next insert the pack and check operation.
. Next attach the commander and apply +14.4 V to
the yellow and red lines. (Red is accessory line.)
8. Press the > key and check each operation.

Press the reset button and check each operation.
Attach the tuner and press the reset button.
Turn the tuner on and check operation.
