Using a DVD Burner to Copy Files
from the Camera
The fi les in the camera can be backed up to a
DVD disc using a DVD burner (CU-VD40/
CU-VD20 sold separately).
•
Supported media: DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-R
DL (More than one disc may be required
depending on the size of the fi le to be
copied. In this case, use new (unused)
discs.)

This disc cannot be played in a normal DVD
player. Use one of the following methods to
view the disc.
- Playback the disc using the camera. ("To
play back the created disc using the camera"
pg. 47, 49)
- Playback the disc using a DVD burner.* (Only
possible when using a CU-VD40.)
- Playback on a PC.*
* The disc must fi rst be fi nalised on the camera.
