brake
is
used:
When
the
brake
is actuated,
the
inverter
output
is
turned
off,
thus
placing
the
motor
in
free-run
conditions,
but
when
it
is
necessary
to
shorten
the
operating
time
for
de
cut-off
of
a brake
unit,
for
example,
if
FRS
terminal
is
used,
approx.
100
ms
is
required
for
signal
receiving
within
the
inverter;
therefore,
the
motor
may
be momentarily
braked,
thus
causing
overcurrent
trip.
Consequently,
in
such
a case,
use
a reset
terminal
(RS).
If RS
terminal
remains
used,
no
setting
can
be
changed,
and
no display
can
be
changed
as
well;
therefore,
make
connections
in
accordance
with
Figs.
16
(a),
(b) below.
