Instruction sheet 727 100
Calculated signals
It is possible to add, subtract, or multiply the signals from adja
cent channels. With these functions, the gain is displayed as a
measurand as well.

Voltage U
Allows the output voltage U to be set in the range from 10 V
to 10 V in 0.01 V steps.

Fig. 8:
Menu for controlling a controllable load at output V.
At Range, the number of steps of the load must be selected.
If the check mark is set, the load is only switched on during
the measurement with a specified delay. In this way, e.g.
switch-on processes can be observed.

The load step is selected under Step. If the tick is not set, the
selected step is active immediately.
Relay R
For controlling the relay board727 115.
Value = 0 gives 0 V at the output.Value = 1 gives 10 V at the
output.By setting the checkmark, the relay can be switched
synchronously with the measurement, analogous to the set
tings for the controllable loads.
3.18 Function generator
The function generator output Y can only be addressed via
CASSY Lab 2 for Drives and Power Systems (see section
5.7).
Fig. 9:
Settings in CASSY Lab 2.
Functions
The output of the function generator can be actively limited to
the actual measuring time while a measurement is active
(single shot).
The output waveform, frequency f (in Hz), amplitude A (in Vp),
DC voltage offset O (in V) and duty factor (in %) can be set in
specific ranges (see Tab. 2).
