Playing a Sequence Frame by Frame ]
You can*.
@ stop the cassette at a given frame (image) ; and
@ advance one frame at a time.
No sound is heard when playing back frame by frame,
1 Press the PLAY (_) button to start playing the cassette.
2 Press the P/Still button (11) to stop the tape at a given frame.
3 Press the P/Still button (II) again to advance forward frame by frame.
4 Instead of Step 3 you can also tum the JOG to the left or right to
advance frame by frame backward or forward.
5 To return to normal playback, press the PLAY (_-) button.
[1_" If the Frame-by-Frame function is used for more than five
minutes (except for JOG function), the VCR will auto-
matically play to protect the cassette and video heads,

You can vary the playback speed using the Shuttle function (up to
nine times the normal speed).
E_: You wish to analyze an athlete's technique, movement
by movement.
The Shuttle function is available on the remote control.
