6. Operating the B 22 CD player

Switch the system on or to standby
mode.

Open/close the CD tray and play the
inserted CD
Shows
the track
number

the
elapsed track time: «O01 05:32» or the
track number and the remaining total
playing time: «01 -16:27». The display

[31] OUTPUT DIGITAL
All information stored on the CD are
available on the two digital cinch out-
puts. The two outputs are connected in
parallel and electrically insulated from
the other circuits by an isolating trans-
former.
[32] AC POWER Power inlet
PROGRAM Mode
The CD player PROGRAM
mode enables the user to
assemble a sequence containing up to 30 selections
(tracks) of the same CD and to play these in the specified
order. The program is entered via the RC 28 remote
control.
Indication of normal operation
- PROGRAM mode
In PROGRAM
MODE the semicolon in the time field
« 00:00 » is replaced by an asterisk « 00+00 ».
Activating the PROGRAM mode

Press the prog key [D9]
Display shows:
«PROGRAM>,
«STEP
01», fol-
lowed by « 00 00*00 ». The first program step can
now ee entered.

With the <,>[C, D7] or 1... 0 keys [A9] ... [D11]
enter the desired track number (e.g. 04) for program
STEP 01. Brief key-stroke for entering 2-digit num-
bers. Longer key-stroke for entering single-digit num-
bers.'

Display shows:
« 04 03*54»,
the entered track
number (04) flashes and the total program time is
displayed in minutes and seconds.

While the track number is flashing, store the program
step by pressing the prog key [D9].
The display shows: «STORE 01», followed by
«Q0 03*54>», i.e. the step has been stored.
