SSB-BFO
For SSB reception (no carrier wave) the 468 kHz carrier-
wave is injected by the BFO oscillator (6117, etc.).
The BFO is connected with the +5 V power supply
(+SSB) by the AM/SSB switch.
In the mid-position of potentiometer 1019 the frequency
is 468 kHz.
.
Detuning + and —3 kHz is possible by varying the DC
voltage across varicap 6176.
The AGC input of TK10311, pin 10, is coupled with DC
potentiometer 1018 in the SSB mode.
AM-FM change-over
(Transistors: 6138-6139-6140-6141-6142)
Change-over is controlled by FM/AM of uP.
FM:
FM circuit is connected to the +5 V power supply
(+2) via 6139.
AM: AM circuit is connected via 6140, 6141, 6142 to the
+5 V power supply (+2).
LF output
The AM and FM LF outputs are both connected to the
base of transistor 6115.
The LF section is the same for both AM and FM.
In case of AM, coil 5125 suppresses the 5 kHz SW
whisties.
The LF output stage (6102) is continuously connected
to the supply voltage.
The amplifier is switched on and off with the voltage on
terminal 5 of this IC.
