perch lorate. Whe n the vehicle or parts of
the rest raint system incl ud ing air bag mod-
ules safety belt s w it h pret ensioners are
scrapped, all applicable laws and regula -
tions must be observed. Your autho rized
Audi dealer is familiar with these require -
ments and we recommend that you have
your dealer perform this service for you.

Therefo re, the availability of certain parts needed
for repair, restorat ion, or reconstr uction w ill be
rest rict ed, or parts will be unavaila ble, if the ve-
hicle is not repaired at an aut horized Aud i col li-
sion repair facili t y. This includes but is not li mit -
ed to structura l parts w hich require specialized
training and equipment to restore their crash-
worthiness back to the orig inal NHTSA and IIHS
performance.

proved changes to the vehicle . For t his reason, if
parts have to be rep laced, please observe the fol -
lowing points when install ing additional accesso-
ries:
Approved Audi accessories and gen uine Audi
parts are available from authorized Aud i dealers.
These dealers also have t he necessary fa cilit ies,
tools and trained specialists to install the parts
and accessories properly .

Using the wrong spare parts or using non -ap-
proved accessories can cause damage to the
vehicle and serious personal injury.
- Use on ly accessories expressly approved by
Audi and genuine Audi spare parts
- These parts and accessories have been spe-
cially designed to be used on your vehicle.
- Do not use license plate brackets in the
front area that are diff erent from the one
installed at the factory, or add additional li-
cense plate brackets.
- Never install accessories such as telephone
cradles or beverage holders on airbag covers
or w ith in the airbag deployment zones. Do-
ing so will increase the risk of injury if air-
bags are triggered in an accident!
- Before you check anyth ing in the eng ine
compa rt me nt, always read and heed all
