Before placing a cassette in the tape
deck
"Fake up any slack in the tape. Otherwise the t_pe may
get emangled in the parts of the t_pe deck and become
damaged.
When using a tape longer than 90
minutes
The t_pe is very elastic. DO not change the t_pe
opera_ions such as play, s_op, and f_st-winding (elc.)
frequently. The tape may get entangled in the tape
deck.
Cleaning the tape heads
Clean the tape heads aider every 1O hours of use.
Make sure to clean the t_pe he_ds befbre you start an
important recording or afier pl_ying an old t_pe. Use
separately sold dryqype or wet4ype cleaning cassette.

cassette.
Demagnetizing the tape heads
Demagnetize the tape heads and the metal parts that
have contact with the t_pe every 20 to 30 hours o/use
with a separately sold demagnedzlng cassette. For
details, refkr to the instructions of'the demagnetizing
cassette.
