and all power equipment can be dangerous if used improperly and keep in mind that safety requires
careful use in accordance with the instructions and....common sense!
This Operator's Manual covers SERIES 13 (last two numbers in the multi-digit model designation) REAR
ENGINE RIDING MOWERS. The first two digits indicate the width of cut. The next two (or three) digits give
the horsepower rating. Models having a "B" suffix are Briggs & Stratton powered., and those with a "K" are
powered by Kohler engines. A "V" suffix is used to distinguish engines equipped with overhead valves.
Models having an "E" suffix are Electric Start.
