Before the first time you use your Party Speaker
Please read these operating instructions thoroughly and keep them in a safe place for future reference.
Remove all packing materials and discard responsibly.
Charging the internal Battery
Before use, please ensure that the internal rechargeable battery is fully charged as follows:
- Insert the DC Plug (22) of the USB Charging Cable (20) into the DC 5V in Charging Socket (2) on the top panel of the speaker to charge the internal battery.

- Insert the USB plug (21) of the USB Charging Cable (20) into a suitable USB charger rated at 2 amp minimum.
- The LED Indicator (16) will light red to show the internal battery is charging. Once the battery is fully charged (after approximately 6 hours), the LED Indicator (16) will go out showing that the internal battery is fully charged and the USB Charging Cable (20) can be removed.
NB the speaker can be used normally during charging. Also, once fully charged, the speaker will operate for up to 3 hours on its internal battery. During use, if the speaker gives a beep tone, this indicates the internal battery is low on charge and will need recharging. Follow the procedure above to recharge the battery.
Using the Bluetooth Mode
- Switch on the speaker by pressing the Power On/Off switch (3) on the top panel (arrow).
- The LED Display (2) on the top panel will flash the word 'blue' to indicate that it is ready to pair with an external Bluetooth device as below:

- Enable the Bluetooth mode on your Phone, Tablet or other Bluetooth compatible device and set it to search.
- Select 'AVS1449' from the search results found by your device which will now pair with the speaker. Once your device has paired the speaker will chime once to confirm it is has paired and the word 'BLUE' on the LED Display (2) will stop flashing and the speaker is ready to play.
- Enable the music player on your Phone, Tablet or other device you are using.
- Press the Play/Pause button
(11) to start and stop (pause) the connected device playing. - Briefly press the skip forwards
(10) and skip back
buttons (9) to change the track being played. - Alternatively use your devices controls in the usual manner.
- Rotate the Volume Control (12) control clockwise and anticlockwise to increase and decrease the volume level.
Using the FM Radio
- Press the Mode button (15) until the FM radio is shown on the LED display (5) as below:
- Press the Play/Pause button
(11) to make the FM radio scan the airwaves. As the radio scans, each station picked up will automatically be stored into the radio presets. - Once the radio has finished scanning the radio will default to preset 1, to change the radio preset, briefly press the skip forwards
(10) and skip back
buttons (9) to change the radio station being played. - Rotate the Volume Control (12) control clockwise and anticlockwise to increase and decrease the volume level.
The AUX Input allows a direct wired connection of an external audio device (such as a mobile phone, mp3 player, etc.) via a 3.5mm jack socket input on the top panel.
- Insert the 3.5mm jack to jack lead (19) into the 3.5mm AUX input Jack socket (7) on the top panel (arrow).

- Connect the other end of the 3.5mm jack to jack lead* (19) to your external device.
- Press the Mode button on the top panel (15) to enter the aux in mode. The LED Display (2) on the top panel (arrow) will show the word 'AUX'.
- Rotate the Volume Control (12) control clockwise and anticlockwise to increase and decrease the volume level.
- Use your devices controls in the usual manner whilst playing music back through the speaker.
*A different lead may be required if the supplied cable is not compatible with your device.
Insert a Microphone (not supplied) equipped with a 0.25" (6.35mm) Jack plug into the Microphone Input Jack Socket (8) in order to sing along with your favourite tracks.

Playing Music from a USB Memory Stick
- Insert a USB Memory Stick (pre-loaded with audio tracks – Mp3,WAV, files etc.) into the USB memory stick player (6) on the top panel. NB the USB port supports USB 2.0 and up to 32GB capacity max.
- The tracks on the memory stick will begin to play automatically.
- Press the Play/Pause button
(11) to play and pause the memory stick. Press the Play/Pause button
(11) again to resume playing the memory stick. - Briefly press the skip forwards
(10) and skip back
buttons (9) to change the track being played, press and hold to search a track. - Rotate the Volume Control (12) control (right) clockwise and anticlockwise to increase and decrease the volume level.
NB the speaker will default to Aux mode after the USB memory stick has been removed.
Playing Music from a Micro SD/TF Card
- Insert a Micro SD/TF card (pre-loaded with audio tracks – Mp3, WAV, files etc.) into the Micro SD/TF Card Player (4) on the rear panel. NB the Micro SD/TF card player supports cards up to 32GB capacity max.
- The tracks on the card will begin to play automatically.
- Briefly press the skip forwards
(10) and skip back
buttons (9) to change the track being played, press and hold to search a track. - Rotate the Volume Control (12) control (right) clockwise and anticlockwise to increase and decrease the volume level.
NB the speaker will default to Aux mode after the Micro SD/TF card has been removed.
TWS (True Wireless Stereo) mode
TWS mode enables two speakers to be used together producing stereo sound whilst using them in Bluetooth mode, follow the below steps to pair the two speakers together using Bluetooth:
- Press and hold the Play/Pause (TWS) button (11)
on both speakers for three seconds and the two speakers will automatically pair together. - Connect to the speakers via Bluetooth as described in 'Using Bluetooth Mode' above.
- Enable the music player on your Phone, Tablet or other device you are using.
- Briefly press the Play/Pause button (11)
on either speaker to start and stop (pause) the connected device playing.
NB True Wireless Stereo pairing is only available in Bluetooth mode.
Care and Use of your Speaker
- Always disconnect the Speaker from the USB supply before cleaning.
- Clean outside of the Speaker with a clean damp cloth. Never clean with harsh or abrasive cleaners.
- Do not submerge the Speaker or its charging cable in water or any other liquids.
