Procedure
Step 1: Preparation
Set the signal generator as follows:
Signal generator setting
FREQUENCY (carrier frequency):
CE62 model; 806.125 MHz
CE69 model; 858.125 MHz
AU66 model; 799.250 MHz
RF OUTPUT (Output level): 60 dBUVEMF
(= —53 dBm)
MODULATION (Modulation frequency): 1 kHz
DEVIATION (Frequency deviation): +5 kHz
Step 2: Tuner [1] (Tuner unit 1) adjustment
The adjustment procedures describe that the WRU-806A
(to be adjusted) is installed into the Tuner { 1] slot on the
MB-806A.
(1) Connect the audio analyzer to the TUNER OUTPUT 1
connector via MIC amp.
(2) Connect the signal generator to the ANTENNA A IN
connector with DC cut fixture.
(3) Adjustment (ANTENNA A IN side adjustment)
Specification: Output level (level meter indication
level) = —21 dBm +0.5 dB (at 600 Q
loaded)
Adjustment: @RV202/RF-92 board (Tuner unit 1)
(4) Connect the signal generator to the ANTENNA B IN
connector with DC cut fixture.
(5) Adjustment (ANTENNA B IN side adjustment)
Specification: Output level (level meter indication
level) = —21 dBm £0.5 dB (at 600 Q
loaded)
Adjustment: @RV201/RF-92 board (Tuner unit 1)
[Note ]
The output level difference between the ANTENNA
A side and the ANTENNA B side should be within
0.3 dB.

Step 3: Tuner [2 to [6] adjustment
When the WRU-806A Tuner Unit is installed in the Tuner
(Tuner unit 2) to Tuner [6] (Tuner unit 6) of the MB-
806A, perform the adjustments from procedures (1) to (5)
of "Step 2. Tuner | 1] (Tuner unit 1) adjustment" on the
respective tuner units that are installed in the MB-806A.
When performing the above described adjustments change
the following details as shown below of the "Step 2. Tuner
(Tuner unit 1) adjustment."
Tuner adjustment — Tuner [2], [3], [4], [5], or [6]
adjustment
Measurement:
TUNER OUTPUT 1 — TUNER OUTPUT 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6
Adjustment:
Tuner unit | — Tuner unit 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6
Step 4:
After completing adjustment, turn off the MB-806A power
switch and perform the followings.
(1) Remove the WRU-806A Tuner Unit to be adjusted
from the MB-806A.
(2) Attach the upper side case lid to the tuner unit, and
insert the WRU-806A Tuner Unit to be adjusted to the
slot of the MB-806A.
