UNPACKING
AND ASSEMBLING
OF THE TURNTABLE.
The turntable platter is supplied securely fixed to the mounting board
to prevent
possible
damage
in transit.
Unpack
the
turntable
in the
following steps.
1. Raise
the edge of the rubber
mat
at points where
white plastic
angles are inserted between the turntable platter and the board.
You will see a screw which secures the platter to the board as illustrated
in Fig. 5. Remove
the screws using the furnished
screwdriver and then
discard the white angles.
2. Release
the arm
jock and slightly move
the tonearm
toward the
turntable
platter by hand,
and then carefully remove
the white pack-
ing material by pulling it upward as illustrated in Fig. 6.
3.
Lock
the tonearm
to the arm
rest and slide the furnished counter-
weight onto the rear of the tonearm
and then give it a few turns in the
direction of the arrow mark as illustrated in Fig. 7.
