The Portafilter Cradle is designed to fit portafilters that use 52mm baskets. If you have a larger
portafilter, grind into the Grind Container, then use the Scoop to measure the coffee into your
portafilter. Alternatively, hold your portafilter under the Grind Outlet without the Cradle.

When using the Portafilter
Cradle the the Dose Control
should be set to 2. For
accurate dosing and less
waste, weigh the amount of
beans you need, add to the
Bean Hopper, then grind
through before tamping to
the right level. As a guide,
we recommend 7 - 10g for
a single espresso and 14-20g
for a double.
Alternatively, refer to your
coffee machine's instruction
manual for guidance.
