3-20 EXT WIDTH OPERATING MODE
a. Set the Mode switch (7) to EXT WIDTH.
b. Apply an external trigger to the EXT
INPUT (23 . The input should have the
following characteristics:
Pulse shape — sine or square wave
Amplitude — between 200mV and 6V
Frequency — 14kHz :
c. Set the EXT INPUT LEVEL (6) control
as required to vary the switching threshoid.
d. Set the SLOPE/POLARITY switch as re-
quired to trigger off the rising (POS) or falling
(NEG) edge of the trigger.
