DUPLEX COPYING
DUPLEX COPYING
- Regal 5790 is recommended for duplex applications.
- As with any full color copier, duplex performance is not
expected to match the performance for single sided
copying. Paper jam rates will be higher than the rate
you will experience for the same thruput material in
single sided mode. Extensive duplex operation may
have a secondary effect on performance and copy
quality of single sided jobs.

When running duplex copies, the second side should
be run only from the Paper Tray bypass.

- 5790 does not allow for Sorters and Film Projectors to
be placed on the same unit.

- Insertion of Regal 5790 copies in 5090/5390/ DocuTech
135 requires CBU validation.
- Do not use 5790 inserts in 5100 due to incompatibility
with the fuser.
TRANSPARENCIES
TRANSPARENCIES
- Transparencies for this product are restricted to
3R5765, 3R5775 and 3R3108 and can only be
supported out of the bypass tray if fed in the correct
manner. The 3R5765 premium transparency is
specifically designed to provide optimum copy quality
including more vivid colors.
- Use of other transparencies may cause machine
damage. Continued use of transparencies other than
those recommended may result in customer being
placed on time and materials. Please see the MUG
700P99701 for additional information.
