    Congratulations on receiving your Symmetry XG Standing System This unit has been shipped to you mostly assembled on a pallet and only requires a few minor steps to assemble the unit for use. Most of the remaining steps to complete the unit follow in this manual. If you have items other than what is in this document you should look for individual instructions included along with those items.

    Adjusting the seat depth Seat depth adjustment is done by moving the back assembly forward or back by pulling out one of the two plunger knobs as detailed below, moving it to the next location then releasing the plunger. After one is located in its position simply repeat the step with the other plunger knob.
  • Page 6 Adjusting the Tray Assembly Adjusting Tray Height The tray assembly is adjustable in height and in Anterior and Posterior movement. Loosen the large black knob “I” as showing in Figure 16, then pull the knob forward while pressing down on the tray surface to release the tray for adjustment.

    Using Patient Lifts Symmetry XG’s open frame design allows better access during transfers even when a lifting device is needed. This base design allows for usage with most major styles and types of lifts without costly and hard to use frame modifications. Using a patient lift with our frame does not require any special modification(s).
