CLEANING/REBUILD INSTRUCTIONS

ENSURE REPAIR KIT IS THE SAME SIZE AS THE
NOZZLE - SEE LASER MARKINGS ON END CAP
THE REPAIR KIT INCLUDES:
Inlet Screen, Rotor Assembly, Seat Retainer
Assembly, Boot, Top Insert, and End Cap O-Ring.

1.
Drain water from nozzle.
2.
Use a small screwdriver to peel the screen from the
end cap's side walls.
3.
Use needle-nose pliers to remove the inlet screen from
the end cap.
4.
Insert the new inlet screen by pressing the base
of the dome to the bottom of the 1/4" FNPT
connection. Use a small screwdriver to press the screen
back in.
5.
Unscrew the end cap from the housing with an
adjustable wrench.
6.
Insert a 3/16" Allen wrench into the housing outlet and
gently press until the seat retainer pops out.
7.
Insert the new seat retainer into the housing with
the O-ring down and the shiny seat toward the
nozzle's interior.
8.
Replace the boot, top insert, rotor assembly, and end
cap O-ring.
Hold the housing at a 45-degree angle and screw the

end cap back into the housing. The rotor assembly
should be laying on the housing side wall and should
not line up with the end cap's external tip. Torque the
end cap to 160 in-lbs.

  • Page 2 TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS NOZZLE STREAM IS FAILING TO ROTATE Check system pressure. For proper rotation, the nozzle needs a minimum of 750 PSI for Aqua-Rocket and 1,500 PSI for Aqua-Rocket Pro. If the pump cannot meet those pressure requirements, go down a nozzle size.
