Relationship Between the Shutter, Diaphragm, and Mirror
Press the shutter release button.
The shutter clicks.
The diaphragm closes
down to pre-set f/stop.
The diaphragm returns
to maximum opening.
Mirror begins to snap up. Mirror is up.
Mirror returns to
the former position.
