Base your selection on the type of music and how you want to listen
to it.
Press EQ MODE to select preset equalizer mode.
Every time you press the button:
FLAT — (preset equalizer)—> G.EQ
5) Select sound quality and field with <, >, Y and A.
Rotation changes with each button as shown below.

HEAVY:
Use to add "punch" to rock and other music.
CLEAR:
Use to clarify the treble range of jazz, etc.
SOFT:
Use to listen to background music, etc.
DISCO:
Use to reproduce a long reverberating sound like that
heard in discotheques.
LIVE:
Use primarily for vocal pieces to add gloss to the
vocals.
Use to impart a deep bass and spread which will
make you feel as if you were in a large concert hall.
To cancel the mode
Press EQ MODE to select "FLAT".
In recording, the sound quality/field will be set automatically to "FLAT".

Press EQ MODE to select "G.EQ".
Every time you press the button:
FLAT—» (preset equalizer}—» G.EQ
Press < or > to select the desired sound range.
The selected frequency indicator flashes.
Press V or A to adjust the frequency level.
Repeat steps Zi through B until you have adjusted
the desired frequency.
To cancel the mode
Press EQ MODE to select "FLAT".
In recording, the sound quality will be set automatically to "FLAT".
Press MEYS.
Press the button again to cancel.
