Loading the Batteries and Checking Battery Level
Loading the Batteries
Your camera uses two CR2 lithium batteries.
Open the battery compartment
cover.
*Slide the battery compartment lever
in the direction of the arrow.
Load the batteries.
Load the batteries with their + and —
terminals positioned according to the
indicator on the battery compartment
cover.
*Do not load old and new batteries
together.
Close the battery compartment
cover.
*Turn the Mode Dial to any setting
other than @ to turn the power on.
Qo elf the
indicator in the LCD panel flashes after you turn the power on,
the date and time will not be recorded on the picture. Always be sure to set
the date each time you replace the batteries (> 72).
