Often, what appears to be a malfunction is due to user error, Before calling for
service please consult the following table.
Symptom
The power is not turned on.
Cause
The wiring harness fuse blows.
Remedy
Check cables for shorts, then replace the
Ne sound or sound is low,
The unit does not work
properly when a button is
pressed.
Sound quality is poor. (Sound
distortion}
A casseite cannot be
inserted,
The cassette is not ejected.
Poor radio reception.
Tape mode is not selected.
The volume level is minimum.
The fader or balance ts set to one side.
The input/output cable or wiring
harness is connected incorrectly.
