Reading the Meter

This meter shows the space remaining on the drive. When first connected (76% or more space
remaining), all LEDs are lit green, and as the remaining space is used, the LEDs turn off one by one. When
the remaining space is 10% or less, all LEDs are lit red, and the LEDs turn off as the remaining space is
filled.
The meter shows an estimate of the space remaining on the drive. To find the exact amount of space
remaining, check the drive from your computer or television. For more information, refer to your
computer or television's documentation.
With some computers or televisions, the DriveStation's LED capacity meter may not be continuously
updated during recording. In this case, the indicator is updated when the DriveStation is connected or
when the computer or television is turned on.

→ All LEDs are lit
green.
■ When the remaining space is 11% or more (lit green)
76% or more : 4 LEDs lit
51% to 75% : 3 LEDs lit
26% to 50% : 2 LEDs lit
11% to 25% : 1 LED lit
■ When the remaining space is 10% or less (lit red)
9% to 10% : 4 LEDs lit
6% to 8% : 3 LEDs lit
4% to 5% : 2 LEDs lit
2% to 3% : 1 LED lit
■ When the remaining space is 1% or less
All LEDs are off.
